I saw that this was supported by worklets in a cyber essentials Automox PDF, however, I can’t seem to find the worklet that it is describing.Does this already exist?

Is there any way to change the remote control consent option? I’m wondering if we can remote the users’ computer without consent approval.  

Is there a powershell script that is already been established where i can install autmox and have it run with the our Key and assign it to a special group that is already been created. 

I am trying to download and install DBeaver. Hi,We require a Worklet that will lock and requires a password to login after computer is inactive for 15 minutes.  We have searched other worklets and don’t see what we need.  Can someone provide a worklet for this for both Windows 10/11 and Macs?Julie

I’m attempting to use the Worklet from the catalog named “EXE Software Installation (System Wide-All Users)”. With only a couple of variables I’m at a loss why it is coming back with the error of “COMMAND TIMED OUT.”I’m running the policy on a system that Automox sees online at this time. Has anyone run into this?

I need to deploy a msi software using automox and need to know can I get that complete. 

I added a new macOS device that has an M1 pro chip.  On my Automox admin dashboard I see this message for this device under the compatibility checklist - This Mac device requires Secure Token User Permission.   I am using the latest Automox agent 1.0-35.pkg.  Is there another step I am missing to install the agent correctly?Thanks.

I am trying to deploy Automox agent on windows 10/11 clients via SmartDeploy Console. The Agent installs but not checking into Automox dashboard. I don’t see the device at all. I have the command setup with the installation of the msi as follows: msiexec.exe /i "[ApplicationsFolder]\Automox Agent\Files\Application Packs\Automox_Installer-1.42.13.msi" /qn /norestart ACESSKEY=#################What can I do to get the agent to checkin to the dashboard? 

Hi we have a request to check the TLS version for a group of servers. I see there is an article, copied below, for enforcing registry settings but what about just checking? Hi, I am working on a set of policies when zero day patches happen. Something I could not figure out is how to target multiple specific patches in one policy. I did create multiple advanced polices targeting the patches and ran those. Is there something that I missing or is there a better way to do this. 

As part of adding security and protect the data on a laptop for a remote exit employee, we would like to force the device to boot with the bitlocker recovery key. The below powershell script works when run locally on the laptop through PowerShell IDE and run as Admin: $hostname = hostnamemanage-bde -forcerecovery C: -computername $hostname The issue is when we try to push the same code with Automox, it bypasses the recovery key and TPM pin and boots to the login screen instead of asking for the bitlocker recovery keyBelow is the code on Automox: Evaluation Code:Exit 1************************Remediation Code:$hostname = hostnamemanage-bde -forcerecovery C: -computername $hostnameExit 0************************I think that it’s an issue with elevating user privillages since the local code is run on PowerShell as Admin and Automox is running the code with the current users rights which are Normal User, but again, I could be wrong. Your help is appreciated. 

i’m just getting my feet wet with Automox, and i see a lot of recent enhancements have been made with regard to Tagging, but i’m wondering if there’s a way to auto-assign tags in bulk based on device info?  My use case would be to automatically tag devices based on their AD OU.  If i’ve got a device in the “San Francisco Office” OU in AD, that shows in the Device Info in Automox, so is there some script or worklet i could use to automatically tag all devices reflecting that device info?  thanks!

When software is updated, it often results in unwanted icons being added to the desktop. Is there any way to avoid this?

I am trying to install the Barracuda Content Shield for our endpoints but its an EXE and not an MSI, plus it needs a key file. The instruction on their site say to use this on the command line: BarracudaContentShieldSetup-2.3.4.1.exeISFeatureInstall="WebFiltering,MalwarePrevention"KEYPATH="bcs.key" /silent Can i upload both the exe and .key file in a policy? Also, for the command line in the policy it says to use powershell syntax and I am not sure how to convert the above to powershell. Thank you.

Hello Everyone. I remember asking this question before we purchased automox and I think the answer was no, but I wanted to confirm. I have a company laptop at home with automox installed and a desktop in the office that i log on too. Last week my dekstop in the office asked me to reboot to update, but my laptop at home did not. They are both part of the same policy. I’m not sure where to look to make sure. Thank you, newbie to the service. MIKE

I’m getting complaints from users about their systems rebooting multiple times a day on both Windows and macOS. Is there a way to see if users are getting the the automox notifications?

Hello,When scheduling a Required Software policy, would you set it to run literally every month, every week and every day?  Or is scheduling it once enough?  I ask this because my thinking tells me it’ll run once and then never again - if the software were to be installed by Automox, then removed by a user, the policy wouldn’t pick it up again.  Or at least not until that singular schedule day arrived again in a years time.Or is is best to schedule a Required Software policy to run once every week if this is the case?Cheers,Mark.

Wondering if I can configure automox to send an alert to a specific email address if a patch fails on a server. I was unable to find anything in the knowledge base. For example. If policy A encounters an error on Server B, Automox sends an alert to email@example.com.
