Here at Automox we’re mostly all in the office, except for Wednesday which is work from home day. How about at your office? Do you have many users who are remote part or all of the time?

Bug Fixes Fixed an issue that could prevent Devices page from loading when a device has an older agent version. Enhancements Enhanced the Automatic Reboot toggle description in the Policy editor. Refactored the Events API endpoint to increase performance and add additional filtering functionality. Bug Fixes Resolved an issue where an endpoint addition to a group via the console sent individual requests for each endpoint added. Fixed and issue when using RHEL 8 that was listing only uninstalled packages in the Device Details page. Curious if anyone else is using Automox to report on security feature status of Macs, namely whether or not Firewall/FileVault/Gatekeeper are enabled or disabled. I know it’s not in the Device Detail screen. Has anyone created a worklet or some other inventive way of managing this through Automox?

Hi All, I have created the Worklet without a schedule to detect the computer setting, and assigned to the group included over 300 computer, how can I list out this computer is non-compliance on this single worklet or single policy?

I know that some retailers or ecommerce companies will freeze any patches or changes to production environments through the holidays, to avoid breaking anything. Are you in that camp? If so, when does your freeze start?

I know it’s linked in a pinned thread (sorry @Nic) , but I wanted to shoot this out here to make sure ya’ll see it. Automox keeps a board up-to-date with our new, upcoming, planned, and suggested feature ideas here: Feature Suggestion & Voting Obviously you can submit ideas there, and add your vote to existing ones, but as an employee here I’m curious what ideas you’re most interested in and opinionated about. Personally, I am most passionate about Dynamic Groups and the Device Compliance Report. From my point of view, being able to populate groups based on a set of rules, and have new devices that come online automatically move to the appropriate group is a game changer. Especially for customers with a good amount of churn on devices in their environment (reimages, replacement hardware, etc.). Any easy to use, group/policy filterable, compliance report is so helpful to admins having to report to management. You should be able to quickly pick a group or set of groups and see all

BleepingComputer Windows 10 Insider Build 19023 Released With Optional Updates Test Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 19023 (20H1) to Insiders in the Fast ring, which will test a new "optional" update experience for Windows drivers. In a new experiment running through November 25th, 2019, PCs running 20H1 Build 18980 and newer will not automatically download and install driver updates that are labeled as “optional”. Instead users will find these drivers under the new Settings > Windows Update > Optional Updates screen shown below.

If you’re rolling out your Automox installation, or adding more endpoints, here’s our handy guide to embedding your access key into the MSI file using the free MSI editor that Microsoft provides, named Orca: https://support.automox.com/help/embedding-your-access-key-into-the-automox-msi Once you’ve added the key to the MSI file you can keep using it for future installations, until we release a new version of the agent. While an older version of the agent will install and automatically update to the latest version, it’s always a best practice to install from the latest agent version.
