Hello,

We’re creating a bunch of server patching policies, and right now I’m struggling to find the assurance that a server will reboot immediately after Automox patches it.

The policies are all geared towards user notifications.  Say for example we’re patching a bunch of DNS servers and domain controllers - no-one logs into these servers much at all, and when we’re patching at midnight, we most certainly have no requirement to notify a user.  We just want Automox to patch, and reboot.  Is this possible?

Cheers,
Mark.,

Hi, Mark - for things like DNS servers and DCs, I would set up a separate policy that doesn’t include user notifications. “Servers only”, etc. You could then just disable the user notifications, like this:

Is that something you’ve already tried?
