  1. Is there a way to provide notices for patches/updates without a deferral option as well as providing notices and deferral options for reboots.

  2. Is there a way to provide notices when applications will stop/restart without deferral options?

    Right now, you can enable/disable deferral for the reboot notifications, but if you use the patching notifications, it is configured to include deferrals.
    It is possible to customize the notification context. Some customers create patch policies for only the apps that will close/restart, and adjust the notification to reflect that. IMO, this fits best with internal process and communications.
