Is there a way in the console currently to restrict access to the console based on IP addresses?

I know we can likely do this with SAML and utilizing restrictions with our idP of choice, but it would be ideal to lock down the console to a set of IPs that we own or operate from.

This way, even if SAML breaks down, we can be sure our accounts are protected somewhat via IP addresses that we can access from.

If it’s a request from support, that can work as well. But it’d be nice to have the option in console (even it means we can stub our own toes).

Hello Joeattcg!

Thank you for posting!

At this time, there is currently not a way to restrict or only allow certain IP address space in the Automox Console. Additionally, this is not something we have access to manage ourselves. I do agree, though, that having a way of doing this from the console without having to rely on SAML would be a massive benefit. What I have gone ahead and done for now is taken this feedback and forwarded it so that this can hopefully become a feature request.

Also, I wanted to comment on the SAML integration. If you do use SAML and encounter a situation where your console access is broken, you can reach out to our support team, and we will work with you to disable SAML until your access is restored.

I have forwarded the content from this request, but if I can do anything else to help, please let me know!
