I have deleted the software distribution folder content, check the registry, but still not finding anything that points to a solution regarding this error.

This error generally means it cannot connect or reach the update source. If you have an on-prem WSUS server for an example you’ll need to configure the group to point to the WSUS URL. If you are looking to use Windows Updates; you’ll need to ensure that the device can reach Microsoft externally.
