Shutting down my PC at night

Forum|alt.badge.img

I am old-school and tell my (Windows 10 Enterprise) PC to shutdown every night, however, I don’t think it does which leads to automox nagging me about restarting my machine and then eventually forcing a reboot.

Has anyone come across this before?

I have tried turning off fast-boot and using the command “shutdown.exe /s /f /t 0” but it still seems like it’s sleeping instead of shutting down properly, has anyone any ideas what else I can try?

Interesting, I had been doing the shift-shutdown as well but it didn’t do the trick, I will try hitting restart at at the end of the day before then shutting it down and see how I go
