Assistance Required to Configure Install Notifications for Third-Party Applications

Hi Team,

While updating the third-party application on our client device, the client needs to be informed that, before the application update, an installation notification will be triggered on the device. From this installation notification, the end user should be able to identify which applications are going to be updated on the device.

We can customize the installation notification using 125 characters, but how can we use the notification to inform the user that these specific applications are going to be updated?

Could you please assist us in configuring this setup?

There is currently no feature natively in the Automox Console to customize notifications, however we do have this feature in the pipeline as posted in our Automox Public Roadmap so keep an eye out for when it’s available!

 

If you need a solution now, you can leverage the WDK on Windows to prompt a user with a custom text box. This will require to utilize a Worklet and can be ran before your Policy Scheduled time.
