Default Group in Automox

Hi Team,

We see a Default group is created by Automox. Can you please explain why this group is created? Also, the use of this group?

Hi @MD Shoaib Pasha !

The default group is a prefab landing ground for devices added to your Automox console.  All devices must exist within a group in Automox, this is why new devices are defaulted here.

 

How you structure additional groups is entirely up to you. Some customers group by location, some by test or production groups. Groups are also where you Automox agent scan interval and Patch Source settings.
