Hello,

I have multiple users experiencing issues with workstation patching. Whenever a user clicks “Reboot Now” when prompted; nothing happens. We can click the “Reboot Now” button multiple times and no response. After waiting for 15-20 minutes; they manually reboot the machine only for Automox to reboot their computer later in the day causing them to lose work. Any ideas on what can be done to prevent this from happening? And has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi PRuffin,

Sorry to hear you’re having some issues. That’s odd to hear you’re pressing the “Reboot Now” button multiple times to no avail, since pressing it once would remove the notification and start the restart process.

It sounds like what may be happening is something is blocking Automox from restarting properly. Can you check your EPP software to make sure the Automox Agent and our working directories aren’t being excluded?

If everything looks good and this is still happening, my recommendation would be to submit a case to support@automox.com and they can help you dig deeper.

Thank you!
