Hi, all. I’m new here, so forgive me if I’m reposting something already covered.

We have 2 machines that have recently received what I believe were 3rd party updates from Automox that have slowed the machines to a crawl. We send out daily updates so I’m unclear as to the exact day, much less exact update, that might be causing this.

Has anyone else seen this with a recent (in the last week) update, and if so did you determine what was causing it?

Also, any tips for quickly alleviating the symptoms without rolling back to a restore point (if there even is one) would be much appreciated. At this point I’m hoping more updates coming through will fix whatever got buggered up. Note that this is only 2 machines (that I know of) out of about 200.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't noticed any slow downs in our environment. Seeing as it is just 2 machines(at least it was) it could be something as simple as a bad install of one of the updates. Sadly narrowing down which would be rough, but Task Manager them see what process could be slowing it down for sure.

Aside from peeling the application updates back 1 by 1 to see if they are the issue I sadly dont have any better thoughts this morning!
