Anyone have a guide on setting up MDM to approve this?
Does automox has an adobe creative cloud patch coming up?
While the need to install critical software is often urgent, we are finding the need to track and remove unwanted software to be equally pressing in some cases. I see that substantial and ongoing work is being done on Automox Worklets which uninstall software. That leads me to wonder whether tracking and removal of software might some day go “mainstream” in Automox and be managed directly through the Automox console. For example, perhaps there could be an Automox Policy which reports ALL packages installed on an end point and can be used to trigger uninstall logic on some subset of these. Am I totally off-track here? Please enlighten!

Hi there, I tried to create a group of laptops based on rapid7’s version, but the filters didin’t do this action. How could we create this kind of groups?because in reality, there may be machines in a given group that already have a precise version of what we're looking for, and we don't necessarily want to crush it. I've seen that it's only in the worklet script that you 'absolutely' have to check a given version so that it only applies to the machines concerned...Is there another way? Thanks regards

Hi Everyone, im newbie for Automox and still easing my path through this new platform. Here’s the little info before i ask my question. So we have got more than 150 devices registered in Automox so far now. we have created couple of policy which patching throughout all week and im still thinking we dont need this much policy on place to be honest cause it’s just crating confusion(see attached screenshots). After all this policies in place we are still not able to get most devices compliant in our dashboard. its indicating almost 70 to 80 percent devices are failed to updates and 40 percent device required reboot to compliant.. we tried to set reboot deferral to 2 times from 3 times before but still no luck.. so is there any way we can set this policies in such a way we can achieve more devices compliant and is there any way from we can start to troubleshoot those failed updates device.. i know its a too much information there but im hoping to get guidance from this awesome community. T

Are there any plans to allow remote sessions to be broken into multiple windows? Our previous RMM tool Splashtop would allow me to open each screen in a separate window so I could see screen 1 and 2 in full size and I could just switch between the two screens with the click of a button. Almost all of our staff work on 2 monitors, sometimes 3 if they use a laptop and dual screens and it’s really difficult to quickly troubleshoot issues when I’m constantly having to zoom in and out and drag the screen around to see what I need to see. It’s a lot of extra clicking just to go from one screen to the next in the event a window pops up on the other monitor instead of the one I’m working on.

This was originally written for a customer that wanted to see if every system in their environment had Sophos Antivirus installed or not - and what version if they did. $apiKey = 'YOUR_API_KEY' - in your console, go to Settings->API and select the API key. Note that the API key is per admin user, so you and another admin in your console will have different API keys. $orgID = 'YOUR_ORG_ID' - put in your Org ID which can be found by looking at the URL on the dashboard and selecting the value after the “?o=”: [https://console.automox.com/dashboard?o=1234]. In this example the Org ID is 1234. $appInstalled = 'APPLICATION' - put the name of the application as it is listed in the software section of a device’s page that has it installed. $filepath - The save location and file name for the .csv file generated. Here’s a sample output checking for Microsoft Edge Chromium: $apiKey = 'YOUR_API_KEY' $orgID = 'YOUR_ORG_ID' $appInstalled = 'Microsoft Edge' $filepath = 'C:\Temp\AppInstalled.

This API script will give you a hardware inventory in addition to some basic OS info and agent version. You’ll need to set the following before running the script: $apiKey = 'YOUR_API_KEY' - in your console, go to Settings->API and select the API key. In this example, the Org ID is 1234. You can also modify $filepath if you want to change the file name or save it in a different location. Keep in mind the script will overwrite a previously generated file if it exists. # Update these variables with your API Key, orgID & save directory/filename # This script expects the $expDir path to already exist and will overwrite an existing file $apiKey = 'YOUR_API_KEY' $orgID = 'YOUR_ORG_ID'
If we have the two policies below1) Servicing Stack - running at 8:00 am2) Windows Updates - running at 9:00 am If the device powers on at 9:30 and the Automox agent checks in and sees the 2 missed policies, which one is processed first? If the device powers on at 8:59 am and the Automox agent checks in and sees the 1 missed policy as it hits the schedule for the second, which is processed first? Thanks for your help.
Regarding https://developer.automox.com/developer-portal/wdk/overview/Would be really nice if the WDK could also return the version of the application when using Get-Win32App. Some of my worklets I’d like to compare currently installed version before running an update.
