Just like the filters we added to the Devices page, we’re going to be adding filters to the Software page to make it easier to search and sort: softwarePage (1)1440×703 137 KB Assuming no last minute bugs, this feature will get launched this week. Once it is live we’ll post release notes with a link to the updated documentation. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Probably a dumb question, but are there any free Automox products or is it just a free trial for Patch or Manage?
This might be a dumb question BUT. We have notifications turned on for failed patches, so assume the patch has failed and checking the latest Activity log for the device confirms the patch has failed. However, when checking device status it is stating device is compliant and upto date. Which one is correct? Device Status and if so why wouldn’t a more recent entry exist in the Activity log. If it is the other way around and Activity log is the latest and correct then shouldn’t Device Status show Needing Attention? image1787×131 10.8 KB

I ran into this yesterday and tried to figure it out on my own without RTFM and it didn’t go so well. Hopefully I can save some of you some hassle by sharing the instructions: https://support.automox.com/help/moving-devices-from-one-organization-to-another
Is there a limit to how big a file I can upload to the Automox cloud when I create a worklet? Also, what happens if a laptop’s connectivity is interrupted while Automox is deploying those files via the worklet? Will downloads resume or restart when connectivity is re-established?
My initial instinct was to set my groups as my locations and use tags for departments. Just curious how everybody else was handling it…
Hi all, I hope this note finds you well. Starting this week, we will be posting release notes on a weekly basis. If we release major features or bug fixes, we will post one-off release notes. Look forward to a Week In Review post on Friday with all of our release detail! Shoot me a note if you have questions or concerns. Thanks, Megan
As we continue to expand our environment and look to put automation in place to allow customers to deploy Automox to their systems without going through us, we need to be aware of any licensing impacts. I’m wondering how is the community is tracking licensing compliance? Do you have a method of notifying you when device counts are close to your purchased licenses threshold?

Many conferences are going virtual, rather than cancelling outright. For instance SpiceWorld will be virtual this year: https://www.spiceworks.com/spiceworld/ What other IT conferences are you planning on attending virtually?

With our new CI/CD process, we have daily releases most weekdays. Currently we do release notes each day but I wanted to survey the community and see what cadence you’d prefer: Daily Weekly Every 2 weeks Once a month 0 voters We’d still do release notes on the day of for big features, so this cadence would be for minor release notes and bug fixes.

https://status.automox.com/ We’ve added in an indicator of the patch engine, as we’ve had an instance recently where the patching queue backed up and patches were delayed. If you have patches that you thought should have run but didn’t, you can check the status page to see if it’s an issue with your policy or something on our end.

We volunteer with There With Care about once a month. This month we went to their HQ and prepared cleaning supply bags for families in need: IMG_33154032×3024 1.84 MB We got a tour of the facility and they showed us all the various ways they help out families with critically ill children. They do everything from delivering prepared meals, clothes, school supplies and snacks, to support groups and assisting with transportation to and from the hospital. We also got to learn about how There With Care began: https://therewithcare.org/bod/paula-dupre-pesmen/ Does your work give you volunteer days to help your local community? If so, what program(s) do you volunteer with?
