I see there are reboot notifications for Mac and Windows, but is there any support for reboot notifications on Ubuntu? If not, is this planned?

Unfortunately this isn’t a common request as most of the Linux boxes are servers rather than desktops, so there’s nobody to notify. It’s not on our near term roadmap, thus not something we’ll be getting to this year. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to write a worklet to prompt reboots that’s separate from the patching, for those cases where you have end users on Ubuntu that you need to remind to reboot.

Not so true, you would be able to push to all sessions (terminal ttys as well as gui) to notify people of a pending reboot. It would take some work though.
