It’s crazy how much business critical stuff runs on outdated hardware and software.
I don’t know what you’re talking about, I work perfectly fine on my VIC-20.
I think the US nuclear arsenal still uses floppy disks for their systems. On the plus side, harder to hack if they’re outdated technology that isn’t connected to the internet.
I think they still use 8 inches floppy disks, not even 5¼…
Run-time fees? OMG.
The program cost $495 and came on 5 ½ in floppy disks.
