Hi everyone,

We’re planning to expand our IT operations team with remote IT admins who will be managing endpoints and creating Worklets in Automox. We’re exploring best practices for onboarding and enabling remote hires efficiently.

Has anyone worked with remote IT talent sourced through a remote recruitment agency like CrewBloom? I’m especially interested in:

  • Strategies for giving remote admins secure access to endpoint environments

  • Tips for training them on creating and managing Automox Worklets effectively

  • Collaboration methods for distributed teams to maintain and deploy scripts across Windows, macOS, and Linux

Any advice, examples, or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi @felixleo12 ,

You’ll be happy to know that Automox has developed an entire training portal with self-paced courses, certificate exams (and Credly badges), and live training webinars that would be perfectly suited for getting your remote hires up to speed.

Furthermore, if you need to provide selective RBAC (role base account control) to admin in your Automox console instance, then please refer to our RBAC guides in the Help Center for how to assign premade or custom roles to your incoming admins.

After your new admin users get up to speed with the essential knowledge, then they can join our recurring live training webinars such as the Live Learning Lab workshops which do have sessions dedicated to Worklet policy best practices.

We hope to see you there!

Brandon
