I can’t abide breading being sufficient to qualify as bread. The “ing” is there for a reason.
No. Is it even chicken?
I’ve tried to tell them. It’s a bone paste at best. The breading is just a ruse
I wish I could like this more than once.
Does it change your answer if they’re homemade with actual chicken? It shouldn’t.
Our hierarchy is something like this I think
– Two bread slices
----- Ham sandwich
----- Quesadilla with two toritllas
– Multi-bread slices (e.g. club)
----- Big Mac
– Single bread covering three side
------ Hot dog
------ Folded pizza slice
------ Single tortilla quesadilla
You forgot infinity sandwiches, sweet, and one/two hole infinity, but yes
We need to start roughing out our family tree of sandwich branches.
A Sandwich since their invention in the late 1700’s have consisted of meat with two slices or bread. At their simplest. A “nugget” is meat (or bone paste) shoved in a baguette basically
There’s the Burritto -> Taco -> Quesadilla branch that needs some recognition.
@jason.goode then its as much a sandwich as a Pig in a Blanket
Pig in a blanket isn’t a sandwich. Two breads. Sandwich. One pastry rolled around a sausage and baked. Heart attack wrap
What are you talking about?! Of course it is.
So, a wrap isn’t a sandwich? What about a calzone?
Yes. They are sub-classes of the sandwich family.
Don’t get me started on grilled cheese versus melt:
The right answer was “yes, chicken nuggets are sandwiches.” So are chicken patties.
Opens on shot of Automox offices, desks flipped over, people shouting, nerf balls everywhere freeze frame narrator you might be wondering how I got here. It all started with a question about a chicken nugget…
As long as they are breaded.
I think we need a sandwich/ not a sandwich worklet. Just saying.
