Friday Fun Facts by Chad

Hi, everybody - Chad here. Happy Friday! I hope your week has been fruitful and free of rage. Mine was going great, until lunch today - that’s when I pulled a Homer and spent an hour locked-out of my condo, with the spare key an hour away. TGIF, y’all. Today’s random little Fun Fact is inspired by a noise I heard the other day and couldn’t figure out, and after reading this article, it’s hard to wrap my mind around it. Wordplay!

Fun Fact: woodpeckers have adapted to have an extremely long tongue, which wraps around their brains to cushion them from the impact of Woodpecker Lyfe®.

To be perfectly honest, this answers a few other questions I’ve had about human physiology when it comes to those folks who live that Hard Rock Lyfe®, but now that I’ve seen how woodpeckers do it, I wonder if some humans have a similar adaptation… :thinking: :thinking: :thinking:
