IPconfig /flushdns Worklet Policy running in a constant 5 min loop

Hi All,  Is there a way to make a policy Worklet (already setup) for Ipconfig /flushdns run constantly on like a 5 minute loop for 1000 PC’s. It currently looks like this below. I am moving a Home drive Host VM server to Azure Cloud which will have an IP change and we will change DNS record, and want to minimize downtime.Evaluation CodeExit 1 Remedial CodeIpconfig /flushdns

Patch Tuesday Rundown - April 2022

Happy Patch Tuesday Week Y’all!  Let’s do a quick rundown of Patch Tuesday, then we’ll send you over to some of our other resources that you can use to tackle these updates. This month, there are 238 total vulnerabilities this month. Woah, that’s a lot.  Here’s the full breakdown: 129 Microsoft,  2 Apple (out-of-band from March), 1 Google, 78 Adobe and 28 Mozilla. Of the Microsoft vulnerabilities, 12 have a severity rating of critical. All of these are Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities. We recommend you patch these within 72 hours. For Apple, we highlighted the two out-of-band zero days that they patched in March. We wrote more about that in our blog, but we recommend patching this within 72 hours as well. Google’s vulnerability this month for Chrome V8 Javascript engine has been actively exploited. Since Chrome is also so popular and widely used, we recommend prioritizing this update. Adobe released updates for Acrobat and Reader, Commerce, After Effects, and Photoshop, fixing a t

Does Automox Use x86 powershell?

I’m attempting to script a LAPS installation which requires the creation of a local account. When I test the powershell script on my local machine everything works great. Intune Deployment

I am using this install command on intune and I tested the same command in a brand new machine.It did install, but it is not registering the machine on automox console. Install commandmsiexec /i "Automox_Installer-1.0.34.msi" /qn /norestart ACCESSKEY=XXXXXXXXXXXXXX="Default"Uninstall commandmsiexec /x "{XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX}" /qn XX is replacing our zone code. 2 issue, for all other machines added, I am getting these 2 errors.Error unzipping downloaded content. (0x87D30067)The unmonitored process is in progress, however it may timeout. (0x87D300C9) ConclusionThe first command msiexec etc - is not correct, so what I am missing?

Server patching and immediate reboots...

Hello,We’re creating a bunch of server patching policies, and right now I’m struggling to find the assurance that a server will reboot immediately after Automox patches it.The policies are all geared towards user notifications.  Say for example we’re patching a bunch of DNS servers and domain controllers - no-one logs into these servers much at all, and when we’re patching at midnight, we most certainly have no requirement to notify a user.  We just want Automox to patch, and reboot.  Is this possible?Cheers,Mark.,

Vulnerability Sync Updates

Hey everyone! If you haven’t already seen it, we’ve made updates to the vulnerability sync experience in the console  Now there are more options for what CVE report type can be uploaded to the Automox console. We’ve added Qualys to our list of supported reports! Of course, you can continue to use CrowdStrike, Rapid7, and Tenable reports, or select “Generic Report” in other scenarios.Additionally, our Tenable support has been updated so you no longer need to manually modify it to be compatible with Automox - the report format is now supported out-of-the-box. We hope this expedites your workflow even more, so that you can fix vulnerabilities quickly! We now also use case insensitive lookups, which should make searching by hostname or FQDN much smoother than before. Which CVE report type does your organization use? Apply updates on system shutdown

Hi,We are looking for a way for Automox to be able to apply updates when a computer is shut down, like Windows Update does.We don’t know if with powershell (through a worklet) we could “tweak” the start menu so it looks like it does with Windows, with the options to “Shut down”, “Update and shut down” and so on.So we are wondering if this is something that someone else has struggled with, or if the Automox team has assessed this possibility. It would be a really convenient feature to have, so users are less bothered by the patching process, but we understand it´s a complicated issue.Do you have any idea if this is poossible through a worklet? How would you start developing it?Thanks!
