How to enable failed patch alerts

Badge

Wondering if I can configure automox to send an alert to a specific email address if a patch fails on a server. I was unable to find anything in the knowledge base.

For example. If policy A encounters an error on Server B, Automox sends an alert to email@example.com.

Hi @taylor.jones , you can enable the notifications for failed patches in your User Profile in the Automox console. You can click the 3 dots on the top right corner, select your own name and go directly to the Profile tab. On the right side of the page are a number of checkboxes that let you get notified for a number of events related to devices being added or removed and patch policies succeeding or failing.

Unfortunately, you cannot send it to a specific email at this time, only to yourself as the registered user.

So the work around here would be to create an email address and create an account for it in automox, then configure to have failed notifications go to that email?

Yes, that would be a useful method. That way only the designated email for that user gets the failure notifications, instead of to your own email inbox.

possible to separate all devices that are failing vs only specific devices or groups?
