So say you schedule something for the 5th Saturday of a month and there is no 5th Saturday of the month. Does the policy just kick off on the 4th Saturday then?

Unfortunately the scheduler isn’t that smart yet. If there’s no 5th Saturday then it will skip over that month until the next time there is a 5th Saturday. If you’re wanting a guaranteed run every month then you should probably pick one of the other weeks instead of the 5th one.

Understood. As much as I would prefer it be smarter, it makes writing this calendar output easier lol.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but is there anything in the pipeline for implementing a “last” option, so it patches e.g. last thursday in the month every month?

Hello Steven and welcome to the Community! Thanks for the bump as we want to make sure you know that you are being heard!

We are currently working on revamping how we do scheduling to include selecting specific dates and keying off of events in a month, such as Patch Tuesday. We will still be able to schedule the existing way and like the idea of adding “Last” as an option as well.

Please let me know if you have any other questions and stay posted to Community for information when we release this new functionality.
